Why choose Prosegur Change to get your Travel Money?
Two central pick-up points instead of one out-of-the-way branch: grab your currency on a CBD lunch break at QVB, or on your way to or from the beach at Bondi Junction. Both are staffed by a local team who deal with Sydney travellers' most common routes — Bali, the US, Japan and Fiji — every day, so they can tell you what to expect on arrival, not just hand over an envelope of notes.
What our customers say

Alishah was so nice and professional. We were looking for a few notes for my son to add to his collection so we ask if she could help us find the ones in the best condition. She was so friendly. highly recommended.
Alfonso Olaiz

I had a really, really good experience with SiddHarth he was very friendly and very quick in his service. His customer service was outstanding, and I really recommend this place. He also had the best rate that I got in the six places I visited that day.

FAQ about currency exchange in Sidney
If you're in the CBD or near Town Hall Station, QVB (a 1-minute walk via the underground passage) is the most convenient. If you're near Bondi Beach or the eastern suburbs, Bondi Junction — inside the transport interchange, a 3-minute walk from the station — is easier to reach.
Yes — when you reserve online, you choose your preferred branch and collection date at checkout.
Not currently — our two Sydney branches are QVB and Bondi Junction, both inland from the airport. If you're flying from Kingsford Smith, we'd recommend collecting your currency the day before rather than on your way to the terminal.
Best time to book your Sydney travel money
Sydney sees three clear peaks in international departures each year. The summer school holidays (December–January) are consistently the busiest month for outbound travel from Australia. Lunar New Year (usually late January into February) is the next surge: Sydney Airport alone expects to welcome several hundred thousand passengers from greater China during this period, and NSW has recorded Lunar New Year visitation jumps of over 100% for mainland China, Hong Kong and Singapore travellers compared to the month before, reflecting Sydney's large Chinese and Singaporean communities and driving demand for CNY, HKD and SGD. And through the Australian winter (June–August), Pacific Island destinations like Fiji hit their highest visitor numbers of the year, with Australia their single largest source market. Booking your currency exchange a few days ahead of these windows means beating the queue rather than joining it.
